Description
Hilcroft is a two-storey house dating from the 20th century. It features rough-cast render that is now painted white and a roof made of graded courses of small grey and russet slates sourced from Gallt y Llan quarry in Snowdon. The house has two tall chimney stacks made of brown brick located on the ridge.
The front elevation includes two gabled dormers, each with a small pane metal casement window beneath a drip mould. The roof overhangs the front wall on corbels but is flush at the gable ends. The roof slopes down to the left over a porch, which has a hipped roof supported by masonry piers. The entrance doorway is square-headed with a boarded door, and there is a small-pane window to the left of the porch. To the right of the porch, there are two 2-light and one 3-light small pane metal casement windows, all featuring drip moulds.
On the right (southeast) elevation, there is a small pane metal casement window on the first floor, also with a drip mould above it. The ground floor has a semi-hexagonal bay with a small-slate roof and small pane metal casement windows. At the rear, there is a garage with a small-slate roof and roughcast render.
