Description
Rose Lea is a two-storey house with a rough-cast render that has been painted white. The roof is made of graded courses of small grey and russet slates sourced from Gallt y Llan quarry in Snowdon. There are two groups of brown brick chimneys, each featuring a taller stack on the ridge and two lower stepped stacks.
The front elevation includes two gabled dormers, each with a small pane replacement window beneath a drip mould. The roof overhangs the front wall on corbels, while it is flush at the gable ends of the house. The roof slopes down to the left over a porch, which is now glazed. The porch roof is hipped to the right and supported by a wooden post. The entrance doorway is square-headed with a boarded door, and there is a small-pane window to the left. To the right of the porch, there is one two-light and two three-light small pane metal casement windows, all featuring drip moulds. The right (southeast) elevation has a small pane metal casement window on the first floor, also with a drip mould above. On the ground floor, there is a semi-hexagonal bay with a small slate roof and small pane metal casement windows.
