Description
Acorn Cottage is a two-storey house that features rough-cast render, which is currently painted white. The roof is made of graded courses of small grey and russet slates sourced from Gallt y Llan quarry in Snowdon. A central chimney is constructed from red-brown brick.
On the left side, there is a cross gable that includes a 2-light small pane casement window on the first floor. The ground floor has a pair of small pane casements along with a small round-headed window. To the right, there is a porch located under the roof slope, and a 3-light small-pane casement window.
An addition in the left roof slope of the cross gable features a dormer. The house has been extended to the left with a single-storey section that connects to a garage. The garage is also an addition, built with matching materials, including a hipped slate roof and roughcast walls. On the right side, there are paired gables, each with a small-pane window, situated above a ground floor bay, which is another addition.
