Description
Grey Gables is a two-storey house featuring rough-cast render that is now painted white. The roof is made of graded courses of small grey and russet slates sourced from Gallt y Llan quarry in Snowdon. The chimneys are constructed of red-brown brick, with those on the left side positioned along the ridge and covered by inclined slates, appearing as a slated gabled buttress. The chimneys on the right side are set across the ridge. The windows are wooden casements with square frames.
The elevation facing The Close features a prominent central gable with a 3-light window. Below this gable on the ground floor is a centrally located 4-light window, with a 2-light window to the right. The left side of the ground floor includes a porch that has been glazed.
On the south-west elevation, there is a single upper floor window above a semi-hexagonal bay window on the ground floor.
At the rear, the wall rises as a single gable with a 3-light casement window on the first floor. Below this gable on the ground floor are two 3-light windows, along with a further 2-light window to the left. To the right, the roof slopes down over a projection that features a left-facing square small-pane window.
