Description
Plas Farm Outbuildings, also known as Henblas Farm Outbuildings, feature an L-shaped layout. The low range runs roughly north to south and is constructed from whitewashed rubble with a slate roof made of graduated courses of grey and purple slates.
At a right angle to this range is a barn, which has a slate roof and whitewashed rubble walls. The barn includes ventilation slits that flank an asymmetrically placed doorway. Inside, it has standard 19th-century roof trusses with king posts and diagonal struts. To the right of the barn is a lower block with a hipped roof, which has a broad doorway flanked by wooden windows featuring T-bar glazing.
To the south of the barn range, at a right angle to The Close, is a Dutch barn. The stone end wall facing The Close has ventilation slots and a segmental gable. The Dutch barn has a corrugated roof covering over its segmental roof, with cast-iron columns on the sides set on massive flat stones. The rear (southeast) side is clad in corrugated material.
