Description
This building is a barn and stable range dating from the 19th century, located to the west of Saethon. The barn is constructed from rubble stone and features a slate roof made of small grouted slates. It has a low door positioned to the left of the center, with a slab lintel above it. The barn includes one loop window to the left and two to the right, supported by massive boulder footings and large blocks in the wall. The rear of the barn has double doors with a slab lintel and a loft window to the left, along with one loop window on the right. There is also a loft door on the west end.
The attached lower range has a roof covered with purple slates and features doors to the left of the center and to the right, both with slab lintels. The rear of this range has two projecting gabled wings with small end windows and a lean-to between them, which includes a door.
Inside the barn, there are five pegged collar trusses, although two collars are missing, along with triple purlins. The adjoining range contains four 19th-century wishbone trusses and also features triple purlins.
