Description
Rhedyn is a cottage built from granite rubble stone featuring large green-brown boulders and slab lintels. It has a 20th-century renewed slate roof with a softwood gutterboard. The cottage includes a stone stack at the north end and a larger pebbledashed stack at the south end. It is a single-storey building with a loft and has a double fronted west facade, which is offset to the left, featuring a 6-pane sash window on each side of the door. There is a lean-to on the south end with a west-facing door. The doors are half-glazed and were added in the 20th century.
Inside, there is a croglofft or taflod over the north end room, but the loft floor has been extended over the south end kitchen. The fireplace has been infilled.
