Description

Mount is a cottage constructed from whitewashed rubble stone, featuring a grouted slate roof and whitewashed stone end stacks, with the left stack being larger and square. This small, single-storey building has a central half-glazed door flanked by 4-pane sash windows, with the right window positioned further from the door. The left window has a slab lintel, while the door and right window are supported by timber lintels. The left end of the cottage is built into a bank, and the right end includes a small tilting 4-pane loft light.

Inside, the cottage has a typical small croglofft layout, with a pine beam above the left end fireplace. Access to the loft over the right end is via a ladder, and there is a painted board partition below that separates the unheated lower room.
