Description
Plas Iol is a cottage constructed from whitewashed rubble stone, featuring a roof made of small grouted slates and whitewashed stone end stacks with dripstones. The stack at the south end is larger, and the facade is offset to the left. The cottage is single storey, with part of the loft space utilized. It has a double-fronted design that includes a 9-pane casement window on the left, a ledged door in the center, and a fixed 9-pane window on the right, all supported by slab lintels. On the rear wall facing the road, there is a small 4-pane sash window on the left and a 4-pane casement window on the right.
Inside, there is a croglofft over the north end and a fireplace at the south end, which features a stone slab lintel. The roof is supported by a collar-truss structure.
