Description

The barn and stable range at Blawdty is a structure built from rubble stone, topped with a slate roof and featuring a red tile ridge. The long northern front includes a broad cart-entry on the right, which has double doors and a slate lintel. To the left of the cart-entry, there is a window with 20th-century glazing, followed by a door, two narrow ventilation loops, and a stable section that contains a window, a door, and another window. At the left end, there is an additional door and window. The windows are small, featuring top glazing with boarding below, while the doors are ledged stable doors, with the two doors on the left having small rectangular openings above them. The structure also has slab lintels.
