Description

This is a late 18th-century barn and stable range, with an early 19th-century extension, originally associated with the Manor House. The building is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with ashlar quoins, and has collyweston slate roofs. It is laid out in an L-shape. The main barn is a tall single bay, featuring planked doors set under a timber lintel, and three vertical breather slots. It has a clasped purlin oak roof covering four bays. To the right of the barn is a two-story, five-bay stable and granary, with two planked doors, two boarded openings, and a large inserted window. The first floor has two boarded openings. All windows are arched with segmental stone. At a right angle to the main barn is a single-story range, partially open and partially blank.
