Description
The former stable at Dylasau Isaf is a notable structure featuring large irregular slabs laid in courses and fine quoins, topped with a roof of small thin slates. The building has a roughly central doorway, which shows signs of narrowing to the left, accompanied by a smaller door to the right that may have been cut in the 19th century, and an almost square window to the left. There is an additional door at the rear, and all openings are fitted with 19th-century deep stone lintels. Access to the loft is provided by stone steps at the southwest end leading up to a doorway, while the northeast gable includes a single window that illuminates the loft.
Inside, the ceiling features 17th-century stop-chamfered beams and joists, although there are modern partitions present.
