Barn and lofted stable at Alltfadog

The building is a barn and lofted stable at Alltfadog, constructed from whitewashed rubble stone with slate and corrugated iron roofs. The left section, which is the lofted stable, features a small window on the first floor to the left, along with a ground floor window, door, and window that are grouped centrally with stone voussoirs. To the right, there are outside steps leading to the loft door, with the right jamb being the corner of the earlier barn.

The upper barn includes some earth-walling and has a roof that is continuous with the lofted range to the left, although it is made of corrugated iron. There are two ventilation loops and a half-glazed door to the right, which also has stone voussoirs. The northern end has a loft door with a timber lintel, which has been converted into a window.

The rear of the building is primarily rubble stone and features 20th-century double doors to the barn with stone voussoirs, a vent loop to the left, and two vent loops to the right. It has a high plinth and a straight joint to the lower end, which also has a plinth and is mostly windowless, except for a small window under the eaves near the joint with the barn.

Inside, there are 19th-century bolted collar trusses.
