Description

Alltfadog is a two-storey house with attached outbuildings, featuring a whitewashed render and a slate roof, along with three brick stacks. The house has a long four-window front, consisting of a three-bay main section on the left and a single-bay service section on the right. The main part displays three pairs of casement windows on the first floor beneath the eaves, while the ground floor has a 16-pane sash window to the left, which is not aligned with the window above it, a half-glazed door with an overlight in the center, and two 12-pane sash windows to the right. The first of these is just to the right of the door, and the second aligns with the window above.

The service section features a door and a 4-pane sash window on the ground floor, with a pair of casement windows above the 4-pane sash. The windows have horns and slate sills, and the house stands on a heavy raised cement plinth. The left end gable has been partly rebuilt in the 20th century and includes a first-floor casement pair to the left, above a rubble lean-to that has two pairs of casement windows facing the farmyard. The rendered right end wall has a 20th-century window on the ground floor to the right.

At the rear, there is a long outshut with a 20th-century casement pair and door in the rear of the service section, along with two triple casements and a casement pair at the back of the main house. Attached to the rear right is a large lofted outbuilding made of whitewashed rubble, with some earth walling, extending back into the bank to the north. On the rear east side, overlooking the back of the house, is a 20th-century window in a former loft door set back under the gable, and a broad three-light window with an oak lintel to the center right. The north end wall, mostly made of earth, has a door to the loft with an oak lintel.

In the farmyard on the west side, there are two doors with timber lintels to the left, followed by a large added open lean-to with a rubble right end wall. Inside this lean-to, there is a small window and two former cart entries to the right, which have been infilled and have oak lintels, along with one loft window under the eaves in the center. To the south of the lean-to, at the end of the main house, is a single-storey range made of whitewashed rubble running south. The west front of this range has two doors and two infilled cart entries, with 20th-century doors. The blank rear faces the front garden, except for a door at the extreme right. The interior of the property is not available for inspection.
