Description
The Cartshed at Dylysau Uchaf is a building with rubble walls and a thin slate roof laid in regular courses, featuring kneelers at the gable ends. There are possible traces of two blocked windows at the eaves level that once provided light to a granary.
On the ground floor, to the left, there is a broad cartshed doorway with a deep stone lintel and a cobbled floor. To the right, there is a doorway leading to an animal pen, also with a deep stone lintel, featuring a stable-type door equipped with iron straps and hooks.
Access to the granary is provided by stone steps at the west gable end, leading to a doorway with a deep stone lintel and a simple plank door. The east gable has a single window under a shallow stone lintel that lights the granary.
