Description

Pont Eidda is a single-span road bridge built in the late 18th century or early 19th century. It features a rubble construction set on rock foundations, with a projecting rubble plinth on the downstream sides. The bridge has a segmental arch made of rough-dressed voussoirs that are recessed slightly below an archring of narrow stones. On either side of the arch, there are simple pilasters. The parapets are also made of rubble, with slab coping and a curved design at the approaches, ending in round piers that are coped in the same manner.
