Description
The former Wheelwright's Workshop is a single-storey building constructed from random rubble, topped with a 20th-century corrugated iron roof. The main northwest-facing side features a boarded door on the left with a chamfered pine frame and an exposed composite lintel, which is a later addition. To the right, there is a square window opening that has modern boarding and was formerly an entrance. Next to this is a larger window with a painted shutter that reads 'Griffith Owen Wheelwright', dating from the early 20th century. Further to the right, there is another entrance with a recessed boarded door.
On the rear side, there is a small square light, which appears to be a primary opening, fitted with a modern shutter, and to the right of this is a blocked entrance. The downhill gable end has an upper square boarded window with a pegged frame and lintel. The building retains a central chimney, although the stacks have been removed at ridge level. The property was not available for inspection during the survey conducted in November 1996.
