Description
Pont Caletwr is a single-span road bridge built in the late 18th century or early 19th century, though it has earlier origins. It measures approximately 15 meters in overall length and is constructed of rubble. The bridge features a wide segmental arch made of rough-dressed voussoirs, with the archring formed from narrow stones. The bridge has been widened, with the downstream side being the original section. On this side, irregular projecting masonry platforms indicate the presence of an earlier structure. The bridge is supported by rock foundations on the northeast upstream side. It has rubble parapets topped with old rough-dressed slab coping and splayed approaches, while the carriageway is flat.
