Description
The building is a cartshed with a granary above, dating from the late 19th century. It is constructed from coursed rubble limestone, red brick, and features a stone slate roof. The large cartshed has an arcade on the north side, with five round-arched bays at the ground floor, showcasing stone keyed brick arches and stone imposts, which continue as a band at the west end. Above each arch, there is a single opening, consisting of two-light mullioned windows and two loft doorways. The gable ends have parapets with kneelers and a cross-roll saddle; the west gable features two sets of two-light window openings, along with a single two-light window in the attic. The south side has a blank central arch that matches those on the north side, along with two rows of slit vents. The adjoining stables to the east are not considered of special interest.
