Description
The building is a cartshed with a granary above, dating from the 19th century. It is constructed from random rubble limestone and has a stone-slate roof. The structure features four bays and a granary stairway located at the south end, facing east. The openings of the bays have timber lintels and are covered with weatherboarding. A central stone column in the Norman style has a cushion capital and a circular base, while the other supports consist of timber posts set on splayed stone bases. Each bay is accessed through plank doors. At the gable end, there is a stone stairway with brick spandrel infill and nosing leading to the upper landing, which has an altered four-panel door with a timber lintel above. This building is included for its group value with the nearby Park Corner Farmhouse.
