Lyric Cottage

Lyric Cottage is a pair of two-storey cottages located in Llandygai, featuring twin gables and a short linking section in the center. The cottages are constructed from snecked slate-stone rubble, with slate lintels on the ground floor and slate-hung walls on the first floor. They have a slate roof with deep verges. Each gable includes a three-light timber mullioned and transomed window on the first floor, while the ground floor has a handed arrangement of a three-light timber mullioned and transomed window alongside single-light windows. There are gabled porches on each return, with the porch on the right (Lyric Cottage) raised to accommodate a bathroom above. The linking section has a prominent ridge stack at the center, featuring a stone base and a cluster of four purple brick diagonal shafts with moulded capping. The interior was not inspected at the time of the survey.
