Description
2 Pen-trwyn-garnedd is a pair of two-storey cottages built in the late 19th century, designed in a gothic style. They are constructed from roughly coursed rubble masonry, featuring large stones as lintels. The cottages have a slate roof with overhanging eaves and verges, and a central grouped stack made up of four square piers. The doors are boarded, while the windows are slightly recessed top-hung timber casements with eight panes; all openings are adorned with shaped labels.
At the right (northeast) end of the range, this cottage has its doorway offset to the far right and includes a single window on both the ground and first floors to the left. The first-floor window is set in a gabled half dormer that interrupts the eaves line. The interior was not inspected during the survey conducted in July 2003.
