Description
The agricultural range at Gelli Grin is a linear, lofted structure built in the 19th century. It features paired cartsheds at the eastern end and a stable to the west. The building is constructed from roughly dressed and coursed local stone, topped with a modern slate roof that has rendered coping at the western gable.
The cartshed bays are fitted with boarded double doors and a narrow window in between, along with a four-paned light above a ventilator. To the right, which is the western side, there is a boarded stable door accompanied by a single-paned light to the right and a six-pane light set in a gabled dormer that interrupts the eaves line. On the far right, there is another boarded door with a window to the left, featuring an eight-pane light above a single pane, likely reflecting the design of both stable windows, as the single pane has replaced a hit and miss ventilator. Each gable has unequal lights positioned in the apex, and there is a bricked-in recess at ground level behind the eastern gable.
The interior was not inspected during the survey.
