Description
This building is an outbuilding located on the north side of the farmyard at Gelli, and it is listed as a Grade II structure. It is constructed of whitewashed rubble stone and features a corrugated iron roof. The building is a single range divided into two sections.
The larger section on the left has a door with a timber lintel and vent loops that are widely spaced on either side. These vent loops have timber lintels over infilled windows. The shorter section on the right includes a door with a timber lintel and a window positioned under the eaves. The eastern end of the building has a loading door with an oak lintel and a plank door. The western end wall has an added lean-to that features a southern door and stone voussoirs above the doorhead.
Inside, the roof is made of 19th-century pine. There is an opposed rear door in the main part of the building. The right end contains a single room below and a loft above.
