Description

This is a 19th-century outbuilding located on the south side of the farmyard at Rhosson Ganol. It is constructed from whitewashed rubble and features a grouted slate and corrugated asbestos roof. The building has a long two-storey front that was built in two stages, with the western half completed first. The western half includes outside steps to a loft at the eastern end, which are now part of the complete range. The northern front has a boarded loft window, a door to the ground floor on the left, and a ventilation loop in the centre. The western gable end features three tiers of dove holes and a loft window.

The eastern range was added under a continuous roof that is hipped at the eastern end. The northern front of this section has a timber lintel to the right, built over the existing loft stairs, and two four-pane loft windows. The ground floor includes a broad cart entry with a flat timber lintel to the left of the loft stairs, followed by a boarded window with a heavy timber lintel. The eastern end has garage doors with a pair of casements above. Both the northeast and northwest corners of the entire range are rounded at ground floor level. The long rear wall facing the road is made of rubble stone.
