The Red Lion Inn is a two-storey building constructed from colourwashed rubble stone, featuring a slate roof and stone end stacks. The left side is roughcast while the right side is whitewashed. The front has a three-window range of 12-pane sashes, which do not have horns on the upper floor. There is a centrally located ledged door. At the rear, there is a 20th-century flat-roofed southwest addition, along with a central stair gable and a northwest rear wing. The northwest rear wing includes a low section to the east with a large stone end stack.
