Description
4 Fron Fair Terrace is part of a late 19th-century terrace consisting of five two-storey cottages, designed in a simplified gothic style typical of the estate from that period. The cottages are constructed from roughly coursed rubble masonry, featuring large stones as quoins and lintels. They have a slate roof with advanced eaves and verges, along with gabled half dormers on the main southwest elevation. Rectangular stone ridge stacks with capping are present.
The cottage at 4 Fron Fair Terrace is slightly recessed from the adjacent house to the northwest and has its doorway offset to the left. It features single timber casement windows with two lights on both the ground and first floors. The first-floor window is located in a gabled half dormer, while a shallow casement window with two panes is set under the eaves above the door.
The interior was not inspected during the survey conducted in July 2003.
