Description

The Old School House is an early 19th-century school building constructed from coursed stone, featuring large stones as quoins and lintels. It has a slate roof with stone copings and narrow rectangular gable stacks that include dripstones and capping. The main facade faces west and consists of a two-window range with a central round-headed doorway. The first-floor windows are located in gabled half dormers that interrupt the eaves line and are topped with ball finials. The windows are modern timber casements. The interior was not inspected during the survey conducted in June and July 2003.
