Description
5 Fron Fair Terrace is a late 19th-century terrace consisting of five two-storey cottages, designed in a simplified gothic style typical of the estate from that period. The cottages are constructed from roughly coursed rubble masonry, featuring large stones used as quoins and lintels. They have a slate roof with advanced eaves and verges, along with gabled half dormers on the main southwest elevation. Rectangular stone ridge stacks with capping are present.
At the far right (southeast) end of the terrace, this particular cottage has a central doorway flanked by two-light timber casements. There is a shallow single-paned light positioned under the eaves, slightly to the left of the door. Additionally, a modern single-storey outshot has been built against the southeast gable.
The interior was not inspected during the survey conducted in July 2003.
