Description
Bodeilian and Lyric Cottage in Llandygai are a pair of two-storey cottages featuring twin gables and a short link section in the center. They are constructed from snecked slate-stone rubble with slate lintels on the ground floor and are slate-hung on the first floor. The cottages have a slate roof with deep verges. Each gable includes a three-light timber mullioned and transomed window on the first floor, with a mirrored arrangement of a three-light timber mullioned and transomed window and single-light windows on the ground floor. There are gabled porches on each return, with the porch on the right (Lyric Cottage) raised in height to accommodate a bathroom above. The link range features a prominent ridge stack at the center, which has a stone base and a cluster of four purple brick diagonal shafts with moulded capping. The interior was not inspected at the time of the survey.
