Lodge, Hope Park, Duns Road, Coldstream

The building is a lodge located in Hope Park on Duns Road in Coldstream, dating from the later 19th century. It is constructed of snecked squared rubble with large ashlar dressings. The lodge is a single storey with three symmetrical bays and a canted bay on the right. The entrance features a double leaf panelled door set in chamfered jambs, flanked by bipartite windows that also have chamfered margins. There is a single sash window in the canted bay. Architectural details include an eaves band, cornice, and a blocking course, topped by a piended slate roof. The lodge has modern stacks and a small extension on the left side. Additionally, there are ashlar gatepiers with chamfered angles.
