Description

This is an earlier 19th century outbuilding located at Hope Park on Duns Road in Coldstream. It is a two-storey stable that has a later addition of a single-storey carriage house. The structure is built of rubble with ashlar dressings. The single-storey section features two pends with doors, while the taller block is notable for a stone sarcophagus that is built into the east wall below the hay loft. Inside, the original stall partitions are still present.
