65 High Street, Coldstream

The building features a band course above the ground floor and has 12-pane sash windows on the first floor, except for No. 67, which has 2-pane windows, all with recessed aprons. The roofs are slate with straight skews and brick stacks. The properties from Nos. 63 to 69 have cast iron railings leading to the steps, which are simplified for the basement area.

No. 61 High Street has a symmetrical ground floor shopfront with a cornice supported by pink polished granite and Roman Doric columns on pedestals. There is a panelled door providing access to the upper floors on the right, and the interior includes good fittings such as a counter, drawers, and shelving. The area is covered over, and attached at the rear is a one-storey building made of rubble with a loft door in the gable and a pantiled roof.

No. 63 High Street features a ground floor shopfront with two large 2-pane windows and doors on the right.

No. 65 High Street has a ground floor shop with a double-leaf panelled door to the shop situated between two 2-pane sash windows, and a panelled door with a fanlight leading to the upper floors on the right. There is an unfortunate modern box dormer present.

No. 67 High Street has a ground floor house front with two altered 12-pane sashes that have aproned panels and a gabletted dormer.
