Description
37 High Street in Coldstream is a house with a shop, built around 1800. It is two stories tall with an attic and has four bays. The exterior is made of droved ashlar stone with margins and rusticated quoins. On the left side, there is an architraved doorpiece for the house that shares a cornice with the shopfront on the right. The house features a base course and has two-pane sash windows, except for a later bipartite window on the ground floor to the left and a shop window on the right. Above the upper windows, there are four blind panels, with the outer pair being oval and connected to the eaves band. The building has an eaves cornice and a slate roof with straight skews, brick end stacks, and two piended dormers.
