Description
44 High Street in Coldstream is an early 19th-century building that serves as both a house and a shop. It is two stories high with an attic and features five bays. The exterior is finished in stucco that resembles droved ashlar. The ground floor is pilastered and has a cornice, with a central door that includes a fanlight. To the left, there is a shop front, and to the right, there are two windows. The house windows on the upper floor are 12-pane sashes, and there is a cill course at the first floor level. The building has a mutule cornice and a blocking course. The roof is slate, with straight skews and two piended canted dormers, and there are brick stacks at each end.
