Description
84 High Street in Coldstream is an earlier 19th-century building that serves as a two-storey house with an attic and a shop. The ground floor is finished in painted ashlar, while the upper part features roughly droved ashlar. On the left side, there is a door leading to the upper floors, which is flanked by Tuscan half-columns that support a heavy lintel and cornice. The shop front has been altered and includes two canted bays on either side of the door. A painted band course runs above the ground floor. The first floor has 12-pane sash windows, with the middle window being blind. The building has an eaves cornice and a slate roof that is skewed to the left, with brick stacks at the ends.
