Description

86 High Street in Coldstream is an earlier 19th-century, two-storey, four-bay house that was formerly two two-bay houses. The exterior is finished in painted ashlar. On the left side, there is a blocked doorpiece with a cornice supported by consoles, while the right side features a door with a fanlight and a panelled door. A band course runs above the ground floor. The first floor has twelve-pane sash windows with cills. The ground floor has been altered. The house has a plain eaves cornice and a slate roof, with a straight skew on the left side and brick stacks at the ends.
