Description
22 New Street in Paisley is an earlier 19th-century, three-storey house with an attic and a symmetrical five-bay façade. The building features ashlar stonework, which is painted at the ground floor and has panelled angle strips. The ground floor has been altered, but it retains a pilastered doorpiece with a cornice. There is a moulded cill course at the first floor, and the second floor windows have moulded cills, with two-pane sash windows on both upper floors. The roof has an eaves cornice and a blocking course, covered with slate, and includes corniced end stacks and two canted dormers.
