Description
4 New Street in Paisley is an earlier 19th-century building that stands three stories tall with an attic and features five bays. The structure is made of ashlar stone. The ground floor has been modernized, featuring a cornice and a blocking course that creates a cill band for the first floor. The first floor windows are designed with horizontal four-pane glazing, while the second floor has six-pane upper sashes and plate glass lower sections. The eaves are hard with a cornice and blocking course. The roof is slate, with skews, a corniced end stack, and two canted slate-hung dormers.
