Description

39-41 High Street in Tain is an earlier 19th century building that stands two storeys high and features three wide bays. The structure is made of tooled ashlar, with the ground floor rendered and painted, while polished ashlar dressings are used throughout. The ground floor has a symmetrical arrangement with three doors and alternate windows, featuring double-leafed panelled doors. The first floor showcases a central tripartite window. Additional architectural details include an eaves and lintel band, broad end stacks, and a slate roof with a stone ridge.
