Description

4, 6, and 8 Lamington Street in Tain is an earlier to mid-19th century building that features two storeys and an attic, arranged in three bays for both shop and dwelling purposes. The structure is constructed of snecked coursed rubble with painted tooled ashlar dressings. It has a central door flanked by shop entrances and modern shop windows. On the first floor, there are three tripartite windows with 12-pane glazing. The building also includes two later 19th century canted dormers, corniced end stacks, and a slate roof.
