185 High Street in Elgin is an earlier 19th-century building featuring two storeys and an attic, with two bays. The ground floor has a modern shop front, while the upper facade is made of classical ashlar and includes symmetrical corniced windows. The building is topped with a cornice and blocking course, and it has two canted dormers with two- and three-pane glazing. There is a single corniced end stack and a slate roof.
