Description

181 High Street in Elgin is a building from the later 19th century, featuring three storeys and three bays. The ground floor has a modern shop front and a narrow flat-arched entrance leading to a pend. The first and second floors have a symmetrical ashlar facade, with a canted oriel window at the centre of the first floor, topped by a decorated and monogrammed parapet. Above this, there is a bipartite window. The building is finished with a cornice and a low parapet, and it has a slate roof.
