Description
5 George Place in Paisley is an early 19th-century, two-storey house built over a basement, featuring a symmetrical five-bay design. The exterior is finished in painted ashlar, with the basement channelled. A prominent doorpiece with a pediment and architrave is accessed by a perron stair. The ground floor has architraved 12-pane sash windows, each with a continuous moulded cill. The building is topped with an eaves cornice and an articulated blocking course, with a parapet above the central bay. The roof is slate, complete with end stacks.
