Description
60 High Street in Coldstream is an earlier 19th century, two-storey house with an attic and a four-bay design that includes a shop on the ground floor. The exterior is made of droved ashlar stone with margins. The shop front is symmetrical, featuring a recessed door that is flanked by tall two-pane windows, while the door leading to the upper floors is also recessed to the right. There is a continuous cornice above the ground floor, and the first floor has eight-pane sash windows with a cill band. An eaves band runs along the top, and there are two gabletted dormers with bracketed cills that rise through the eaves. The roof is slate with straight skews and brick stacks at the ends.
