Description
28-30 Mill Square in Catrine is an early 19th century terraced dwelling that stands two stories tall with an attic, featuring a broad three-bay design. Originally, it included a shop on the ground floor. The exterior is dry-dashed and accented with painted ashlar dressings, including quoin strips and a base course, and it has a regular arrangement of windows. The main entrance is located at the center of the ground floor, with the right bay featuring a larger door and a former shop window. There are two piend-roofed dormers, with a small skylight situated between them.
The rear elevation is plain. The windows are timber sash and case, with 12 panes (the shop window has 8-pane bipartite design). The front roof is covered with grey slates, while the rear is finished with concrete tiles, and there are brick chimney stacks.
