Description
4-5 Market Square in Stonehaven is an early 19th-century, low two-storey and attic, three-bay terraced dwelling that includes a shop on the ground floor. The building is constructed of ashlar stone.
On the north elevation, there is a modern shop entrance to the right, and to the outer left, a panelled timber door with a plate glass fanlight. The first floor features three windows grouped to the right, with two polygonal-roofed canted dormers above the outer bays. The windows are timber sash and case with a 4-pane glazing pattern. The roof is covered with grey slates, and there are ashlar stacks with some cans, along with an ashlar-coped skew to the west.
