Description
6-7 Market Square in Stonehaven is an early 19th-century terraced dwelling that has been altered. It is two storeys high and has two bays, with a shop on the ground floor. The building is constructed of ashlar stone with droved margins and chamfered arrises.
The north elevation, which is the main front, features a modern shop door in the center and an additional door with a plate glass fanlight to the outer right. On the first floor, there are two widely spaced windows, and to the right, there is a single polygonal-roofed canted dormer window.
The windows are timber sash and case with a 4-pane glazing pattern. The roof is covered with grey slates, and there are coped ashlar stacks with some cans, along with an ashlar-coped skew.
