15, 17, 19 Barclay Street, Stonehaven

15, 17, and 19 Barclay Street in Stonehaven is an earlier 19th-century, two-storey and attic, three-bay flatted dwelling that has later shops on the ground floor, forming an irregular terrace. The building is constructed from weathered dressed red sandstone and features projecting cills on the first floor, with altered stonework at the ground level.

The west (principal) elevation includes a central six-panelled timber door with a plate glass fanlight above. To the left, there is another timber door with a shop window beyond, while to the right of the centre, there is a later shop front with an in-canted door to the left and a display window to the right. The first floor has regular fenestration close to the eaves, with polygonal-roofed slate-hung canted dormers over the outer bays, flanking a traditional cast-iron rooflight.

The windows feature 4-pane and plate glass glazing patterns in timber sash and case designs, with fixed plate glass glazing at the ground level. The roof is covered with grey slates, and there are coped rendered stacks with cans, along with an ashlar-coped skew.
