Description
Larik Lounge, located at 8 Barclay Street in Stonehaven, is an earlier 19th century, two-storey, three-bay flatted dwelling that includes a shop on the ground floor, set within an irregular terrace. The building features colourwashed stugged ashlar with stone cills at the ground level, along with a banded cill course and eaves lintel course on the first floor.
The principal elevation faces east and has a modern door with a plate glass fanlight at the center of the ground floor, flanked by fixed display windows, all topped with a timber fascia. On the first floor, there are two windows, and above them are two small modern cast-iron conservation rooflights. The first-floor windows have a four-pane glazing pattern in timber sash and case. The roof is covered with grey slates, and there is a squared rubble stack with cans and an ashlar-coped skew to the south.
